Scars & Stretchmarks
Customised person centred care.
A consultation is always necessary. Each treatment is customized to cater to your individual needs, providing a comprehensive approach to healing.
Accidental Scars
Accidental scars are marks left on the skin after an injury that wasn’t planned or intentional. These can result from cuts, burns, scrapes, falls, or other trauma to the skin. Like surgical scars, they form as part of the body’s natural healing process.
-
Cuts or lacerations
-
Burns or scalds
-
Road rash or abrasions
-
Animal bites or scratches
-
Sports injuries or falls

Other scars ..
Skin grafts
Self harm scaars
Liposuction scars
Acne scars
Surgical Scars
Surgical scars are marks left on the skin after an operation. They form as part of the body’s natural healing process when an incision is made and then closed.
-
Flat or Pale Scars – common and usually fade over time.
-
Hypertrophic Scars – raised and remains within the original incision.
-
Keloid Scars – raised and extend beyond the original wound (best treated by DR)
-
Atrophic Scars – sunken or pitted, though less common after surgery.

Stretchmarks
Stretch marks (medically known as striae) are streak-like scars that form when the skin stretches or shrinks rapidly. This sudden change causes the collagen and elastin in the skin to break, and as the skin heals, stretch marks may appear.
Causes :
-
Pregnancy
-
Rapid weight gain or loss
-
Growth spurts (during puberty)
-
Bodybuilding or muscle growth
-
Hormonal changes (e.g. from medications or medical conditions)

Reviews
Patients' reviews on scar and strechmark revisions.
Gemma M.
"My stretchmarks have been a sore topic since after I had my third baby. I can't believe there is finally a treatment that actually makes them fade"
Carla R.
"People would always ask me about my self harm scars which reminded me of a dark chapter of my life. Instead of putting a tattoo over it I had scar camouflage with Caroline that has changed my life."
Sakura Y.
"I had a scar from a skin graze that got infected and was always being asked about it. I was so tired of repeating myself so I had 4 sessions with Caroline and I don't notice it anymore! Thanks Caroline!"
The Journey.
Paramedical tattooing takes patience from both the practiotioner and the patient. Multiple sessions, with healing time in between, is the best course of action for most scars and stretchmarks.
Needed if your scar is bumpy and raised.
Inkless Scar Revision.
Inkless is targeted CIT with a tattoo gun and selected serums. The depth of the skin is taken into consideration as is the type of the scar itself. This is often the first course of action depending on the individual scar.
Best for flat scars.
Scar Camouflage with Customised Ink.
Depending on if the scar is light or dark, customized ink will be blended and layered on over sessions like permanent concealer.
Scar Lightening.
Pre and Post Scar Lightening with serum.
For scars that are darker than the surrounding skin, lightening may be achieved with inkless or ink.
